From the Artists:
April 2026
To our amazing community,
We would be toast without you! Please join us in toasting to five years of educational programming, community engagement, and creative output. During the month of April, we are running our annual Spring gifts campaign with a goal to raise $4000 via our fiscal sponsor, Human Movement Project.
We are hard at work planning our next season of classes, creative projects, and special events. Your contributions are vital to our ability to continue our work both inside and outside of the studio. Here is just a glimpse at what your dollars support:
-
New and improved community-based programming that weaves together mental and physical wellness, and creative expression
-
Ongoing, consistent and rigorous advanced/professional level contemporary classes open to the Boston area dance community at below market rates
-
High quality creative presentations that bring audiences out of their seats and into the creative process
While we can’t share exactly what we have in store yet, trust us: it is going to be good and we need you to pull it off.
And yes, all donations made via our fiscal sponsor are tax deductible!
Interested in making a contribution of $300 or more? Consider joining our Foundation Circle! Email bostonclicknotclique@gmail.com for more information.
Thank you for your continued support!
With love,

The Spring 2026 Fundraising Committee of The Click
A Fiscally Sponsored Project of Human Movement Project
Spearheaded in 2021, The Click is an experiment in organization, connection, and collaboration among a group of like-minded creative spirits living, making, teaching, and studying in the Greater Boston area. We are a group of dancers whose primary medium of physical expression is through contemporary forms but who dabble and play in many modes of creativity. Whether we spend our time sliding along the marley of a dance studio, weaving fibers, painting, or writing poetry, we are each deeply invested in answering the universally complex question that might play across your mind as well: who am I and what am I doing here?
The Click contributes to the consistent presence of creativity in Boston and beyond by: educating pre-professional youth dancers, professional adult dancers, and the dance-curious of any age; performing original creations several times a year at a variety of venues - both traditional and non-traditional - across Massachusetts, New England, and beyond; and investing in the curiosity of those new to dance and/or new to the Boston area by maintaining an open, inclusive, and accessible community of individuals eager and enthusiastic to share resources, feedback, tips and tricks, or a simple hello.
Since its inception, The Click has maintained multiple weekly drop-in classes for a variety of levels, in addition to special workshops and events geared toward community engagement in relation to our professional projects. The Click has held residencies at The Foundry through the Anchor Partner program and at The Dance Complex through the BLOOM Residency program, and has partnered with private youth studios, Boston-area elementary schools, senior centers, and more to bring our unique education programs to a variety of populations. The Click has been awarded grants and other recognition from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, The Boston Foundation, the New England Foundation for the Arts, the Cambridge Community Foundation, and a number of local cultural councils in the Boston area.
